Formation of CSI
The Church of South India was inaugurated on September 27, 1947, uniting Anglican, Methodist, Congregational, Presbyterian and Reformed traditions.
1970s
Migration to North America
CSI members began migrating to North America, bringing their faith and traditions to new communities.
1990s
First Congregations Formed
Early CSI congregations were established in major metropolitan areas across the United States and Canada.
2010
Diocese Established
The CSI Diaspora Diocese was officially established to serve and unite CSI churches throughout North America.
2026
Growing Community
Today, our diocese continues to grow, serving numerous congregations and thousands of faithful across North America.
